Resources
There are a number of websites I use regularly. Here is a partial list.
Christian study:
Bible Gateway – great research tool. Perfect as a source of quotations when sharing Bible verses.
Crosswalk - another extensive site of commentaries, encyclopedias, sermon resources, etc..
For kids/teens:
Study Guide to accompany “Black Beauty” – Anna Sewell’s classic, Black Beauty: An autobiography of a horse, was written to educate people about the horrific conditions of dock horses and work horses of the nineteenth century and to humanize what some considered merely beasts. This guide by Vicki Watson is beautiful, comprehensive, and geared toward teens.
For writers:
Morgue File – source for free photos to use in your blogs or for other online work. Please read limitations for use.
Edit and Proofing – great editing is what makes for great writing. Articles, books, copy… check this one out. Worth the investment!
Suite 101 – article site for authors. Requires editorial approval and photo images for each article submitted.
For horse and pet owners:
NetPosse.com – Has your horse gone missing? Go here. Need to learn how to establish positive identification for your horse or your dog? Go here. Lots of support and information for horse and pet owners about security and reducing the chance that your beloved horse will be stolen. It still happens!
Valley Vet – catalog and internet source of all things for horses at great prices.
Teskey’s – huge one-stop shop for everything to tack up, feed, house, and dress for equine activity. Weatherford, TX and online.
