History of White House Tour Cancellations
Barack Obama closed the White House to public tours on March 8, 2013. I wanted to know if such action had been taken in the past. Is cancelling the tours really such a big deal, or is the President’s decision to lock the doors of the People’s House creating undeserved controversy? What is the history of closing the White House? Christians Celebrating Christmas – Festive Idolatry or the birth of Jesus?
Celebrations in many Christian homes have become festive orgies of consumption. Idolatrous revelries focus on food, drink, and unrighteous behavior. Spending money you don’t have on “the holidays” is an example of idolatry. What does idolatry have to do with holiday celebration? Idolatry in any age or season is usually a festive activity. Anybody watch NFL football in the last couple of years? Morning-after quarterbacking by pundits attempting to characterize the tenor and result of the Vice-Presidential debate inspired me to use football as an analogy to analyze events of our evening spent with Joe and Paul. Let’s see if any minds are swayed by morphing the action from politics to football.

Obama the Artist – “the beautiful telling of untrue things.”
How Obama, a gifted artist, sold a beautiful narrative to win the Oval Office and Nobel Peace Prize before delivering any success. Compare the hopeful message of 2008 with the singular message of Mr. Obama’s quest for a new acting contract.

Barack Obama describes himself as “eye candy” – The danger of taking candy from strangers.
While American interests burn at home and abroad, Barack Obama prefers being eye candy on Michele’s arm to being president. The true reflection of Obama – a stranger selling candy to kids on the street corner. What he’s dealing will destroy our nation. And — the one penetratingly honest statement Obama made this week.
