Thank you for visiting and leaving your 'calling card.' It is so amazing to find blessing and to know that it is something apart from our circumstance and that it is everlasting.

You are right, Elaine. Staying focused and on message can be difficult sometimes. We're all here to encourage each other. Thanks so much for your thoughts.

Lynn,
This post was so needed by most of the authors I know, as well as myself. Never have I experienced such highs and lows until I became an author. The things we write about, whether fiction or non-fiction, are exposing us and making us vulnerable. It is hard to gauge the impact on our readers until a note arrives or you see that someone recommends the book to someone else. You are right. I know that if my books didn't have the plan of Salvation in them, I wouldn't work so hard to get them into reader's hands. God bless you in your writing ministry.

Although he was not an author, Lynn, your nation's great Henry Ford said in the 1920's, that if he made it his aim to give the very best service he could, then the dollars would take care of themselves. He understood the principle of service, as you do. Not everybody does.

Long before it became a reality, Mr Ford said he would, "belt the earth with motor cars."

When you're ready, unfold the keyboard and belt those keys - even if you only get a few words at a time. God is very pleased with you. He knows you are serving Him.

Even though we're all getting older, there is still something new to learn or appreciate about our horses each day.
Thanks for visiting, Dan.

Very nice. My wife and I are 65 and hope to ride as long as possible. And you're right about that mounting block.
