Warm. Authentic. Wholesome. Christian. And, very horsey!
What more could you ask from a book about young ladies and their ponies for young people who love their horses or who want to vicariously experience a right relationship with both horses, friends, and family.
Rosie and Scamper, by Vicki Watson, is a delightful read and one I can recommend to parents, teachers, and grandparents who are looking for something entertaining, suitable, and beneficial for their kids. I must admit I haven’t read a book intended for younger readers in 40 or 50 years, but when I finished this first book in the series I was ready to see what adventures and trials waited for Rosie, Carrie, and their ponies in book two, Carrie and Bandit.
Need a summer book for Vacation Bible School? Vacation entertainment? A peek into what awaits at horse camp?
Readers will learn excellent basic skills and knowledge of working with horses, dealing with personal challenges and growth opportunities – all entwined in gospel messages that are crystal clear but not in-your-face.
Visit www.sonrisestable.com and learn more about Vicki’s books. You can go directly to the STORE to buy Rosie and Scamper for $7.95, or books 1 and 2 for only $13.95!
